Conscious parenting is a term used by various psychologists (and others) to describe a style of parenting that usually focuses more on the parent and how mindfulness can drive parenting choices. Join us in this session to learn about daily exercises to enrich conscious parenting.

The AISD Parent Portal serves as the primary resource for all of the services provided online to our parents. This site gives parents direct access into their child's classroom information, registration to your child's campus, district-wide information and links to other often used services. In this session you will learn about the parent portal and how to navigate the site.

Early College High School Preparation 3 p.m.
Join Austin Community College (ACC) to learn more about the dual credit courses offered at participating AISD high schools. In this session, participants will be given information on how to enroll into the Early College High School (ECHS) Preparation Program, the campuses that offer ECHS courses, cost for the student/family and about the benefits of enrolling your child into the program. Participants will gain a better understanding of what ECHS is and expand their knowledge about ACC in general.
