AISD K-8 Accelerated Reading and Mathematics Instruction Evaluation Report, 2008-2009
During the 2008–2009 school year, 23,713 grade K–8 students participated in reading and/or math interventions. Of those intervention students who took grade 3-8 TAKS, 75% passed in reading and 65% passed in math. For more information, read the full report.

Title I, Part A Summary Report: 2008-2009
AISD allocated Title I, Part A funds to 68 school-wide campuses (52 elementary, 11 middle, and 5 high schools) where the percentages of low-income children ranged from 45% to 99%. Other funds were allocated to provide services district wide to students, staff, and families. For more information on Title I compliance, read the full report.

State Compensatory Education 2007-2008
State Compensatory Education (SCE) is a supplemental program designed to eliminate disparities in (a) student performance on assessment instruments administered under chapter 39 of the Texas Education Code (1995, amended 2007), and (b) the rates of high school completion between students who are at risk of dropping out of school, as defined by Texas Education Code 29.081 (1995, amended 2007), and all other students. This report examines the results for the State Compensatory Education program for at-risk students in AISD for the 2007-2008 school year.
