Refugee & Immigrant Services
The International Welcome Center serves as a resource hub for newly arrived students and their families enrolled in Austin ISD. For newly arrived students, we support to two main groups: (1) refugee and asylum students and their families and (2) newcomer students and their families.
Message from the Austin ISD Board of Trustees
We are grateful to have you as part of our Austin ISD family. Our school board recognizes it has been a difficult back to school time for many in our community, and our hearts are with all who are suffering and struggling to make sense of recent events.
2019 AISD Pride Week Kickoff Celebration
We are #AISDProud to announce the AISD Pride Week Kickoff Celebration—9 a.m.–noon Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center. The event will showcase the district’s commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Please invite your school community to this districtwide celebration of our LGBTQ+ students, staff and families.
