Overview

In November 2017, Austin voters overwhelming approved Austin ISD’s $1.05 billion bond proposal to create 21st-century learning spaces. The bond replaces, improves, renovates and equips facilities for our approximately 80,000 students and 12,000 employees. Every school benefits.

Key elements of the bond program include: Constructing 17 new or modernized campus facilities to replace aging infrastructure or expand capacity; Improving school safety and security; Addressing changing technology; and Replacing aging school buses.
