The Office of Student Support Services is led by Dr. Gloria Williams, and supports all schools in Austin ISD by providing educational support services, including after-school and evening programs, tutoring, and on-site childcare in safe and structured learning environments, as well as enrichment and special services for refugees, students who are homebound or experiencing homelessness, and adults learning ESL. Dr. Anthony Mays, Chief School Officer, said, "Dr. Williams leads with equity in mind, spearheading a contemporary and intentional partnership approach that brings schools, families and communities together to educate and support students through robust programs and helpful services."
