Project GLAD Training Follow-Up Survey, Fall 2014
During the summer of 2014, Austin ISD’s Department of English Language Learners provided guided language acquisition design (Project GLAD) training to 33 district teachers. Teachers from two AISD campuses were selected to participate in the district’s pilot of the Project GLAD program. This report summarizes Fall 2014 survey responses from the 33 teachers who participated in the training.
AISD Bilingual and English as a Second Language Programs Summary, 2013-2014
During the 2013-2014 school year, AISD served more than 23,000 English language learner students in bilingual or English as a second language programs. This report summarizes these students' English language proficiency gains as well as academic performance on the state's required assessments.
