Please join us for the 2nd annual Austin ISD Showcase on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Road)! Learn about the fantastic programs and opportunities our district offers for students and families from Pre-K to 12th grade.
Each school will be on hand to show what makes it a unique place for your child to learn, grow and succeed. You can also visit with over 100 community partners and organizations offering resources to your family.
This event includes FREE haircuts, FREE flu vaccinations, and FREE school supplies! Come see student performances, watch a drone, play with a robot, explore the Dell Mobile Gaming Station, play on a bounce house, say hi to K-9 Officer Korzi, get FREE books from Buford the Book Bus, and be the first to learn about the new enrollment system for the 2024–25 school year!
Parking and transportation
Free shuttle buses – Austin ISD is providing FREE transportation starting at 8 a.m. Shuttles run continuously throughout the event taking families back and forth, as needed.
Attendees may park at these seven locations to catch shuttle buses to the Showcase:
- Burnet Middle School - 8401 Hathaway Dr, Austin, TX 78757
- Covington Middle School - 3700 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749
- Dobie Middle School - 1200 E Rundberg Ln, Austin, TX 78753
- Gus Garcia YMLA - 7414 Johnny Morris Rd, Austin, TX 78724
- Lamar Middle School - 6201 Wynona Ave, Austin, TX 78757
- Martin Middle School - 1601 Haskell St, Austin, TX 78702
- Paredes Middle School - 10100 S Mary Moore Searight Dr, Austin, TX 78748
Paid Parking – Paid parking is available on-site for $10 at the Palmer Events Center Garage.
Free digital Cap Metro bus passes – Complete the form by 5 p.m. Sept. 20 to receive a free digital bus pass for the day. Children always ride free on Capital Metro buses.

¡Este evento incluye cortes de pelo GRATIS, vacunas contra la gripe GRATIS, y material escolar GRATIS! Vengan a ver las actuaciones de los estudiantes, vean un dron, jueguen con un robot, exploren la estación de juegos móviles de Dell, jueguen en un castillo inflable, saluden al policía canino K-9 Korzi, obtengan libros GRATIS de Buford the Book Bus, ¡y sean los primeros en enterarse del nuevo sistema de inscripción para el ciclo escolar 2024-25!

Autobuses de enlace gratuitos - El Austin ISD proporcionará transporte GRATUITO a partir de las 8 a.m. Los autobuses de enlace funcionarán continuamente durante todo el evento llevando y trayendo a las familias, según sea necesario.

Estacionamiento de paga - Hay estacionamiento de paga disponible en el lugar por $10 en el Garaje del Centro de Eventos Palmer.
Pases digitales gratuitos para los autobuses de Capital Metro - Completen el formulario antes de las 5 p.m. del 20 de septiembre para recibir un pase digital gratuito para ese día. Los niños siempre viajan gratis en los autobuses de Capital Metro.
