Due to COVID-19 and in-person gathering restrictions, Doss Elementary will celebrate its grand opening virtually, with remarks from Principal Steenport and AISD leadership, as well as a video tour of the new facility.

The new Doss Elementary was inspired by a treehouse due to its location on a sloped site among the trees. With 44 classroom studios, numerous collaboration spaces and increased opportunities for outdoor learning, Doss now has expanded capacity for 870 students.
