Engaging our Community in College Readiness: Empowering Students in the Digital Age

Webb Middle School is proud to present the fifth annual College Readiness Conference. Engaging our Students in College Readiness: Empowering Students in the Digital Age is a workshop for students and parents.  

What: Parent workshops include learning how to prepare students for college as well as how to access their student's’ grades on the AISD Cloud.

Student workshops will be focused on empowering students in the digital age. The screening of the award-winning documentary, “Screenagers,” will help students find balance in social media as well as discover the effects that social media has on brain development at different stages in their lives.  

A Thanksgiving feast will be served at 12:30 p.m. and 10 attendees will receive Thanksgiving dinners and gift cards.

When: 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Nov. 11

A special student VIP meet-and-greet will take place with keynote speaker Chris Saldaña, a CBS Austin Emmy-award winning journalist, at 8:30 a.m. with the keynote speech at 9 a.m.
