The lessons are supplemented and enhanced with six culturally effective workbooks, each covering a different subject. Parents Support Specialists in 21 schools are trained to be Maestro en Casa instructors. Parents attend free classes at schools and participate in a graduation ceremony at the end of the course. Maestro en Casa is a partnership between AISD and the Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together Foundation.
