Webb Early College Prep Middle School is hosting an event called ENCORE Family & Student Conference: Engaging our Community in College Readiness. 

The conference includes breakout sessions for families and programs for students focusing on overcoming barriers and supporting academic success. The event includes a free holiday dinner of turkey and side dishes. 

Who: First Lady of Texas Cecilia Abbott will provide the opening remarks for the conference, and Austin City Councilman Greg Casar will provide the keynote address.

When: 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Nov. 21

Where: Webb Prep Middle School, 601 E. St. Johns Ave.
