13 students to earn college degree while finishing last semester of high schoo
Austin ISD's first graduating classes of the Early College High School program are graduating from The Austin Community College District this week.
Who: Walter Bumphus, president and CEO of the American Association of CommunityColleges, and his wife, Aileen Bumphus, executive director of the University of Texas at Austin's Longhorn Center for Academic Excellence Gateway Scholars Program, will deliver a joint address at ACC's commencement.
What: The ceremony honors 13 students from the first cohort of the early collegehigh school program who have completed ACC's associate degree and certificate programs for the spring semester.
When: 6 p.m. Thursday, May 14
