Tonight, Austin ISD's Board of Trustees will hold a special board meeting to recognize outgoing board members and swear in new trustees in single member districts 1, 4, 6, 7, and at-large position 9.

Following the swearing in ceremonies, trustees will elect board officers.

Incoming trustees:

• Dr. Edmund T. Gordon will be sworn in as the representative for District 1.
• Julie Cowan will be sworn in as the representative for District 4.
• Paul Saldaña will be sworn in as the representative for District 6.
• Current trustee, Robert Schneider, will be sworn in for another term as the representative for District 7.
• Kendall G. Pace will be sworn in as the representative for 
  At-Large Position 9. 

When: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 

Where: Carruth Administration Center board auditorium, 1111 W. Sixth St., Room B-100
