Interim Superintendent will speak with the community about district issues, candidacy
The remaining candidate for the position of AISD Superintendent will be presented to the community in a public forum at Lanier High School.
Who: AISD Board of Trustees, Interim Superintendent Paul Cruz
What: The community will have the opportunity to speak with Dr. Cruz, talk about district issues and how he would address them, and ask questions.
When: 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 13
Where: Lanier High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road
Background: The Board of Trustees continues its work to find the right superintendent for AISD. After reviewing more than 90 applications that Ray and Associates received for the position, and taking community input into consideration when deciding to include Interim Superintendent Paul Cruz, the board created a timeline to name a sole finalist.
