AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD and the City of Austin have partnered to hold Take a Loved One for a Checkup Day and Career Fair this weekend.

Who: Assistant Director of Health Services Tracy Lunoff will receive a proclamation from Mayor Pro Tem Sheryl Cole on behalf of AISD for a partnership that has been established with the City of Austin African-American Quality of Life Task Force.

What: Take a Loved One for a Checkup Day and Career Fair will include free health screenings, such as pregnancy, vision and HIV testing. Free flu shots will be available by appointment.

When: 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20; 2 p.m. proclamation ceremony
