Parking and Shuttle Service
Due to construction of the Dell Medical Center Project, parking and access to the Frank Erwin Center will be severely affected through the end of 2014.
The Erwin Center advises visitors to check parking maps a few days before graduation for the most current updates.
AISD strongly encourages all families and friends to use the district's free shuttles to travel to and from the graduation ceremonies. The district also asks guests to plan to arrive early and to be prepared to be re-routed by the Austin Police Department at several intersections.
Family and Guest Guide to Graduation 2014
AISD's schools will provide parents with a letter, which includes information about:
- parking at the Frank Erwin Center
- places to meet
- where to enter the building
- items that cannot be brought into the building and
- where to meet graduates after the ceremony.
Parents also may contact schools for information about specific ceremonies.
