AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD’s elementary schools are inviting professionals to their campuses on Friday to talk about their careers to get students thinking about potential professions.

Who: Interim Superintendent Dr. Paul Cruz, along with 25 various professionals, will be speaking at Linder Elementary School’s Career Day.

What: Students at Linder will begin in the cafeteria for an assembly with the 25 community speakers to listen to keynote speaker Dr. Paul Cruz. The assembly will be followed by breakout sessions in which third through fifth graders listen to the speaker of their choice and first and second graders speak to firefighters.
