AUSTIN, Texas—Barrington Elementary School’s Dual Language Committee invites the community to Multicultural Night, a night of celebrating the diversity of its community and families.

What: The celebration will showcase music and dance performances, along with food from different cultures. The purpose of this event is to provide the Barrington community, parents and students, with an opportunity to learn about diversity and to share their experiences to create consciousness about their cultures’ similarities and differences.

When: 5 p.m.Thursday, May 22

Where: Barrington Elementary School, 400 Cooper Drive

Barrington Elementary School has increased its reading scores in kindergarten through second grade since it implemented dual-language in its classrooms.
