AUSTIN, Texas—The Austin Independent School District is confirming two media briefings will be held today, Monday, March 31:

  • AISD Police Chief Eric Mendez will provide information about the gun found today at Webb Middle School at 4:15 p.m. at the Carruth Administration Center, courtyard, 1111 W. Sixth St.
  • President Vincent Torres will be available to discuss the agenda for tonight's Board of Trustees meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Carruth Administration Center, courtyard, 1111 W. Sixth St.
