Members of Travis County Taxpayer’s Union Drop Their Appeal in Lawsuit Against AISD

District can move forward on spending bond funds, as voted on by public

AUSTIN, Texas—Members of the Travis County Taxpayer’s Union have dropped their appeal of a lawsuit against Austin ISD, which will allow the district to carry out the will of the voters by moving forward on the bond package.

Critical needs will be the district’s first priority in implementing the use of funds.

Voters approved two out of four propositions in a bond package last May. To find out what improvements each school will receive as a result of the bond, visit www.austinisd.org/bond/bond-program/by-school
