AUSTIN, Texas—Today, “Dinosaur George” Blasing, a paleontologist and animal behaviorist, will visit Austin ISD’s Maplewood Elementary School. 

What: A travel "museum" presentation with George Blasing showcasing dinosaur displays in the gymnasium for a day of student visits.

Where: Maplewood Elementary School, gymnasium, 3808 Maplewood Ave.

When: Tuesday, Jan. 14, during school hours

Background: Maplewood was provided this traveling museum program by the Texas Parent Teacher Association for increasing the school’s PTA membership this year over last year.
