AUSTIN, Texas--Austin ISD is hosting its third annual All-City Guitar Festival Thursday at Reagan High School.

What: All-City Guitar Festival

When: 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14

Where: Reagan High School Performing Arts Center, 7104 Berkman Drive

Background: The event is designed to showcase the musical talent of close to 100 high school and 115 middle school students from the district.

The classical guitar program has grown significantly through the support of AISD's educational outreach program in partnership with the Austin Classical Guitar Society. Guitar offers an opportunity for students who would not typically choose instrumental music.
