Austin, TX—The Austin Independent School District invites media to ask questions about the district’s goals and priorities for the new year, following the 2013 virtual, all-staff convocation.

What: Media briefing with AISD Superintendent Meria Carstarphen

When: Wednesday, Aug. 21; Convocation program begins at 9 a.m., followed by a media briefing at 10 a.m.

Where: Austin High School auditorium, 1715 W. Cesar Chavez St.
