AUSTIN, TX­—The Austin Independent School District will hold a media briefing to answer general questions about preliminary STAAR test results.

What: Bill Caritj, chief performance officer will present an overview of the district’s preliminary results. Carolyn Hanschen, director of campus and district accountability; Edna Butts, director of intergovernmental relations and policy oversight; and Suzanne Burke, associate superintendent for academics, will be available to answer questions about the results and how recent legislation may affect the district.
