Austin, Texas—The Austin Independent School District has launched the AISD Parent Cloud, a new online tool that offers parents access to their students’ educational information—from tracking grades, attendance and test scores to planning for graduation.

The Parent Cloud brings the district’s resources together, allowing parents to navigate district-wide information and services with the touch of a button.

“Parental engagement is critical to our students’ success, and we are committed to empowering parents with the tools they need to support their children,” Superintendent Meria Carstarphen said. “Parent Cloud offers a one-stop shop for families to access their children’s information and learn about district-wide resources and services.”

Parents will be able to access information using their smart phones and tablets, as well as desktops.

The district launched the Parent Cloud in English this month. A Spanish version is being developed and scheduled for release later this year.
