AUSTIN, TX—The Austin Independent School District invites families and community members to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Roy Bedichek Middle School.  

When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10

Where: Bedichek Middle School, 6800 Bill Hughes Road

The school, established in 1972, will be open for alumni to tour and reminiscence. There also will be outdoor games, music and food.  

In honor of Veteran's Day, Bedichek's award-winning Junior Marine Corps of Cadets Color Guard will open the ceremony at 10:30 a.m. The school will have a flag folding ceremony that explains the meaning of each step in the process.
