The City of Austin Economic Development Department is hosting a Public Open House and Community Video Presentation for the Colony Park Sustainable Community from 6:30–8 p.m. at Turner-Roberts Recreation Center, 7201 Colony Loop Drive.
This is a family fun event featuring an exclusive screening of the shortlisted Master Developer's video presentation for the 208-acres of publicly owned land in Colony Park.
The video will be shown at various times throughout the night, and attendees will have an opportunity to score the video and provide feedback. This will be the final opportunity for community members to vote–so don't miss the fun!
The event will also celebrate the Grand Opening of the Northeast Health Resource Center.
We are excited to partner with Central Health, Austin Public Health, CommUnityCare, Travis County and Austin ISD to bring a night of entertainment with performances from Volma Overton Elementary and ME arts.
The festivities will include free health screenings and a Health Resource Fair with vendors from a wide range of local organizations.
Families can enjoy free food, shaved ice, bouncy house, face painting, balloon artists and much more.
