The Mid-Autumn Festival is an official harvest festival celebrated by Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese people. The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second-most important holiday tradition for the Vietnamese.

Summitt Elementary School and Austin ISD Vietnamese Dual-Language Program staff will celebrate this festival with students and their families from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Sept 19 at Summitt Elementary School, 12207 Brigadoon Lane, Austin, TX 78727.

Entry fee is a $3 donation per person. Children get free paper lanterns and treats, and food will be available for purchase for $7 per plate. Click here for details.
