Dear Austin ISD community,

The board met Tuesday to review candidates for interim superintendent. Seventeen candidates applied, and we have chosen to invite four for interviews with the trustees. Our decision-making process incorporated input from the Austin ISD community and needs identified by members of the board. We thank all of the candidates who applied.

Our timeline for naming an interim superintendent remains the same: a vote at our meeting on Dec 15 for an interim who will begin work by Jan. 3, 2023.

Estimado personal y comunidad  del Austin ISD

La mesa directiva se reunió el martes para analizar los candidatos a superintendente interino. Se presentaron diecisiete candidatos, y hemos decidido invitar a cuatro para entrevistas con los miembros de la mesa directiva. Nuestro proceso de toma de decisiones incorpora las opiniones de la comunidad del Austin ISD y las necesidades identificadas por los miembros de la mesa directiva. Agradecemos a todos los candidatos que se postularon.

Nuestro calendario para nombrar a un superintendente interino sigue siendo el mismo: una votación en nuestra reunión del 15 de diciembre para un interino que comenzará a trabajar el 3 de enero de 2023.
