In our survey, 80% of families who responded said they plan to send their child to school wearing a mask.

Why it matters: The survey results show that the vast majority of Austin ISD families plan to have their child wear a mask at school.

Dive Deeper: Generally, parents of elementary school students were more likely to send their child to school in a mask than parents of middle or high school students.

• On average, 83 percent of elementary school families said they plan to send their child with a mask, compared to 81 percent for Middle School and 75 of high school families.
