Valedictorian Alexander McGahagin congratulated his classmates and talked about the importance of loving what you do.
"Today I would like to take the time to talk about love—a love for one’s work," he said. "Fundamentally, to suffer the slings and arrows life flings at us in pursuit of our passion is nothing short of love."
Principal Amy Taylor congratulated the students on their hard work, the scholarships they've received and their plans for their lives after high school.
"Students, today is your day," Taylor said. "You will always be a Maroon, and we know each of you will achieve greatness. Show the world who you are."
