On Wednesday, Feb. 13, the AISD Board President Geronimo Rodriguez, Superintendent Paul Cruz and Chief Officer of Business and Operations Nicole Conley, took part in a Facebook Live Q&A with the public. The topic was about the vision for our commitment to better learning environments and opportunities for all students, possibly through new programs, facilities, consolidations and building repurposing efforts. Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 19, the district will host a series of Budget Town Hall meetings. The primary focus of these meetings is for district leaders to engage in active listening with the community. Attendees will learn about the district’s academic investments and austerity planning and have the opportunity to share their ideas and concerns about proposed changes to the budget.
Childcare and Spanish interpretation will be provided at each meeting.
