Now through Dec. 10 all students with a valid school ID can ride any Cap Metro transit free-of-charge—an extension of their summer offer of free public transport to all kids. To take advantage of this, students must show their school-issued ID to the bus operator or fare inspector.

While children younger than five always ride for free, they must be accompanied by an adult.
