Austin ISD students are scheduled to take state exams, including the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, beginning April 10 and continuing through May 18.

To reduce distractions and help students focus on their tests, visitors' access to AISD campuses will be limited during the weeks of April 9, May 7 and May 14.

In addition, the district will administer advanced placement exams, also commonly referred to as AP exams, May 7–18.

As has been the practice on test days in the past, the district will continue to limit visitors’ access—including for the media—to schools during student assessment periods.
