McCallum High School presented diplomas to 356 high school seniors in a graduation ceremony this morning at the Frank Erwin Center.
"I'm so proud of you for your hard work and determination," said Superintendent Paul Cruz to McCallum High School graduates.
Salutatorian Margeaux Brown reminded graduates that each person has a story and to be sure and follow their own path.
Among this year’s achievements by the school and its students were:
- McCallum’s Visual Arts team won seven medals at the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, including two gold and five silver medals.
- McCallum’s baseball team won their seventh consecutive district championship.
- McCallum’s Winter Color Guard team finished in second place at the state Winter Color Guard competition in March.
