More than 600 Bowie High School seniors celebrated their graduation this evening when they received their diplomas at a ceremony the Frank Erwin Center.

"The lessons we learned at Bowie are what set us up for the rest of our lives," said Valedictorian Stefani Barre.

Significant accomplishments at Bowie this year included: 

• The World Winter Guard seniors completed all four years in Winter Guard and were four time state champions and four time Winter Guard international finalists.
• They also were the only Texas high school Winter Guard team to place in the Top 10 in the World Class Division of Winter Guard International Championships two years in a row.
• The Bowie Bulldawgs varsity football team was the 2016 undefeated district, bi-district and area champion.
