Travis High School Principal Ty Davidson had heartfelt parting words for seniors tonight as they graduated in a ceremony at the Frank Erwin Center.
"You are not alone on this journey," Davidson told them. "Once a rebel, always a rebel."
Rebels have a lot to celebrate. Eighty-five percent of the graduating class applied to four-year colleges, 101 took AP and/or dual-cedit classes and seniors earned more than $1.5 million in college scholarships.
The Navy JROTC went to state for the first time in more than 15 years, and the one-act play was named UIL district runner-up.
Salutatorian Diana Ruiz Trujeque encouraged graduates to dream big.
"This is a time when we spread our wings," she said.
Congratulations to the Travis High School class of 2015!
We're #AISDProud of our #AISDGrads!
