Nearly 200 students were celebrated today as the Reagan High School Class of 2015 graduated in a ceremony at the Frank Erwin Center.
The class of 2015 has earned a total of 721 college credit hours.
Among the graduates’ extracurricular highlights:
- Raiders football won four of seven district games and made it to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years.
- The Soul Raider Marching Band earned Division 1 and Sweepstakes awards at UIL as a varsity marching and symphonic band, and won first place wind ensemble at the MLK Battle of the Bands in Houston.
- The Raiders boys basketball team was second in the district with a record of four players making all-district teams.
This is the first year that Reagan students have earned an associate degree at Austin Community College as part of the Early College High School program.
During the program, students can take ACC classes for free. Those earning at least 60 credits can earn their associate degree before graduating from high school.
