More than 80 seniors graduated Wednesday evening from Garza Independence High School, with 98 percent having been accepted to either a two- or four- year university.
The school's namesake, Gonzalo Garza, addressed the graduates and their friends and families at the Frank Erwin Center.
"Words cannot express how proud I am of all of you," he said. "You are, by every definition of the word, a success."
Members of the graduating class has been offered more than $1 million in college scholarships.
Garza students have contributed to their community with the Academic Society monthly volunteer projects, the Garza Canned Food Drive an the Christmas gift collection.
