A+ Education Foundation, a philanthropic arm of A+ Federal Credit Union, announced their 2014 Educator Grant Program recipients. More than $72,000 in grant funding was awarded to 81 educators across Central Texas.

Oak Hill Elementary School is pleased to announce that the A+ Education Foundation has awarded grants to 22 of their teachers totaling nearly $20,000. These funds will support trainings, literacy programs, author visits, environmental education, and program support all of which will enhance the classroom experience for students at Oak Hill Elementary.

Dr. Cathryn Mitchell, principal at Oak Hill, said, "In a time when schools struggle to fund educational programs, I am proud of these teachers for looking into alternative methods and applying for the A Plus Grants. The Oak Hill students will truly benefit."
