Nearly 300 Travis High School Rebels crossed the stage at the Frank Erwin Center to receive their diplomas June 5.
Interim Superintendent Paul Cruz noted some of the class of 2014's achievements, including a more than 100 percent increase in overall scores on Advanced Placement exams, as well as an average daily attendance of more than 91 percent.
Almost every one of Travis’ athletic teams earned district playoff spots or qualified for regional competition.

The Navy JROTC logged more than 4,000 hours of community service.
Valedictorian Layla Esquivel told her fellow graduates, "We have waited for this moment for so long and now we just want to get out of here. ... Slow down. Don't rush this moment."
