More than 100 seniors crossed the stage at the Frank Erwin Center this afternoon to graduate from Eastside Memorial High School.

Ninety-three percent of graduates were accepted to and will be pursuing a post-secondary education.

For the second year in a row, EMHS was designated a No Place for Hate campus.

Students organized Spirit Week and Peace Week, and also for the second year organized Adopt-a-Kid, which places an elementary school student with an EMHS advisory class for one morning.

The entire senior class participated in Day of Service in the fall, volunteering either at a food bank or a senior citizens center.

The Pantherettes dance team advanced to the national competition this year, winning in the modern dance category and earning awards for outstanding showmanship and outstanding entertainment.
