The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders graduated 52 seniors today, in AISD's first 2014 graduation ceremony at the Frank Erwin Center.
Seniors participated in 393 advanced placement exams, an average of more than seven per student, and 100 percent of the school's graduates have been accepted to four-year colleges.
This was also the first class to attend the school from sixth grade through graduation.
On the extracurricular activites front, the cross-country, track and volleyball teams won district and the band won sweepstakes at UIL.
This year's valedictoria, Monica Herrera, is the younger sister of last year's salutatorian, Laura Herrera.
