Dear Austin ISD Community:

After reviewing proposals from four executive search/recruitment services firms this week, the Austin ISD Board of Trustees narrowed the list of companies to two.

The board has invited ECRA Group–Hazard, Young, Attea, & Associates, and Ray and Associates to make presentations and answer questions related to the search for a new superintendent.

The firms will present their plans for the search to the board at a special meeting, beginning at 10 a.m. May 17 in the Carruth Administration Center, Board Auditorium, Room B100.

Discussion of which firm is best suited to handle the district’s needs is scheduled to continue at the next regular board meeting, May 19.
