Cassie Moffitt has been selected as AISD School Nurse of the Year and Victoria Valero as AISD School Health Assistant of the Year.

For the second year in a row, this honor has gone to a school health team who work together covering two busy schools, Clayton and Casey elementaries.

Moffitt and Valero—from left in photo with Casey Elementary School Principal Jean Bahney (center)—were nominated and selected by their peers because of their great teamwork, excellent communication and contributions to the AISD Student Health Services program.

Moffitt is a certified diabetes educator and has conducted several trainings for AISD staff. Valero is recognized for her caring ways and positive attitude. Thank you for being such great role models.
