Education Austin invites the community to an educational forum from 6–8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Travis High School. The information on the process, fees, etc. will prepare attendees for the Citizenship Drive that will take place from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Travis High School. The purpose of the Citizenship Drive is to help eligible permanent residents fill out a citizenship application.
We will have pro-bono lawyers on hand to check the applications. Education Austin is partnering with the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials, Univision, University Leadership Initiative, National Education Association and TSTA in support of this effort.

We are also awarding six scholarships of $465 each for the students who are eligible for DACA. Students may apply here:

On Saturday, May 3, we will have a DACA clinic to help qualifying immigrant students fill out the application. Lawyers will be available. Look for time and location in a future announcement.
