Last week during the 28th Annual Keep Austin Beautiful Awards Luncheon, the Keep Austin Beautiful organization honored Pickle Elementary School as the best of the best in Austin for their campus beautification efforts. The school was honored along with other individuals and groups for their efforts to enhance and protect Austin's environment. 

Pickle was chosen for their amazing work installing a rain garden, vegetable garden and habitat garden on campus. For their efforts, the school received $1,000 to continue beautification projects on campus.
