Salute, a tribute to teaching excellence throughout the district, will be held at the Joe R. and Theresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts May 23.

The annual event, co-hosted by AISD and Austin Partners in Education, will include performances by students, a VIP Reception, an Honoree Reception and much more. The Austin Teacher of the Year, who will serve as the District’s nominee for the Texas Teacher of the Year Program, will be named at Salute.

This year, AISD also will celebrate a new platform for honoring teaching excellence. Join the festivities to honor our Teachers of the Year, National Board Certified Teachers, Teachers of Promise, and Principal and Classified Staff of the Year!
