Employment Opportunities with Austin ISD
We are continually seeking qualified candidates for teaching positions. Positions require certification as a bilingual teacher in Mandarin Chinese. Teachers will need to be certified to teach in Elementary School settings. They will also need TExES #164 Bilingual Supplemental endorsement.
Specific certification requirements are listed for each vacant position that is posted on the Austin Independent School District website.
Principals are collecting resumes for all positions in anticipation of vacancies for the 2022-23 school year.
Once a vacancy becomes available candidates may apply for a specific position. The application process is extensive. Even though specific vacancies may not be available at this time, you are encouraged to begin the application process now so that your information can be accessed for that position.
