Austin School District Meets Federal Accountability Standards
October 14, 2008 - Austin school officials today released District results on which campuses made Adequate Yearly Progress, or AYP, on the federal accountability standards in 2008. The results show that the Austin School District, and 96 of the District’s 113 campuses, (85 percent), made AYP this year, based on performance on certain criteria during the 2007-2008 school year.
